  • Auto-trac/Front Driveshaft? Models equipped with an auto-trac transfer case may require a new front driveshaft. Auto-trac transfer cases can be identified by a badge on the rear case that reads “NP246”. In addition, the dash mounted display will show the Auto 4WD symbol. Cases with “NP243” are not auto-trac.
  • Requires exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. See installation instructions for more information.
  • Not recommended for Tahoe/Yukon 4 door models.
  • Does NOT fit 8 lug models.

writing a second review nearing the end of my installation. All of the parts fit well. Installation became very difficult when the cutting came into play. Differential modification was very simple, but cutting the factory bump stops became very difficult with a Sawzall and grinder so i ended up using my plasma cutter which made this job a thousand times easier. rear lift is complete and is very high quality and done well. I do wish it came with rear swaybar drop links because the swaybar sits at a very unusual angle and i list about 2 inches of axle clearance only because of the swaybar. I fixed this by using the rough country 4-6 inch lift rear swaybar drop links. Other than these issues. installation is very simple for being a complete diff drop kit and basically modifying the entire front suspension. I do wish there were more descriptive installation instructions and better pictures. the pictures are very hard to understand and some of the instructions steps are kind of confusing. I would definitely buy this kit again for the price to performance but I think next time I can cough up the 800 dollars to get it installed professionally just to save the hassle. 9/10 would buy again.
