Most leveling kits use a tall, top-mounted strut spacer that provides lift but overextends the suspension or driveline angles at full droop', maxing out ball joints and leading to premature wear/failure of the components. To get around this issue, this kit uses a 2-piece spacer design comprised of a smaller, top-mounted steel strut spacer in combination with a preload spacer. The result is a leveling kit done right that maintains the factory ride quality and functionality with room for larger 285/70r17 tires.

Features & Benefits

  • 2-piece deisgn to lift and level stance.
  • Maintains OE ride question and handling.
  • Keeps ball joint/CV operating angles within spec.
  • Allows fitment of 285/70r17 tires.
  • Includes Factory Protection Plus

Fits well and levels the truck perfectly

The product fits well and I now have exactly the same wheel well clearance on the front and back.
The installation did not go without snags. The preload spacers fit tightly over the strut body. Factory crimps in the top of the strut tube deformed the tube slightly requiring the spacers to be driven on with a hammer and driver. Once past the crimps they slide on easily.
Be SURE to follow every step in the instructions, especially the part about removing the half shaft nut and driving the half shaft out of the wheel hub. I had watched Youtube videos where this was not done so I didn't either. (on the first side). My skipping this step resulted in an over extended half shaft and the CV joint came apart. Luckily I'm a professional mechanic and have the tools to put it back together instead of buying a new one. (I know, a real professional would have followed the instruction!!) The other side went together smoothly. Because of my mistake the entire installation took about 5 hours.
I like the way the kit is completely hidden from sight.
